LISN LED
The choice of wires for LED display depends on its scale, control system, installation environment and functional requirements. In the process of LED display production, installation and playback, many wires are needed, which can be generally divided into two categories: power supply and signal.
The power cable is the wire connecting the power supply and the display, which is mainly used to power the entire LED display so that it can operate normally. The power cable is usually an RVV cable, which is a sheathed soft wire, mainly divided into:
1) The module power cable is generally a 5V power cord, usually one to two, one to three, and one to one. The length of the module power cable is usually 20 cm long. Indoor modules generally use 1.5², and outdoor modules generally use 2.5². It can be customized according to installation requirements.
2) The receiving card power cable is generally a 5V power cord, only one to one, with a length of about 35 cm, which can be customized according to installation requirements.
3) The power cable of the sending box has a plug, and the voltage is determined according to the different voltages of each country. The sockets are divided into American standard, European standard and national standard. The length is 2 meters and 5 meters, and can also be customized according to needs.
3) The power cable between the LED display cabinets has power terminals, which are divided into male and female terminals, and the length is about 75 cm.
4) The external power cable of the LED display, the voltage is also determined according to the different voltages of each country, and the sockets are divided into American standard, European standard and national standard. The length is generally 5 meters and 10 meters, which can be customized according to installation requirements.
Signal cables: module signal cable, receiving card sending box signal cable, LED display external signal cable, optical fiber, control cable, USB cable, ground cable.
1) The module signal cable is also called the data cable, which is the signal between the modules, the flexible flat cable, saves space, needs to prevent damage, and the length can be customized according to needs
2) The receiving card, sending box and LED display external signal cables are usually called network cables, and the transmission distance is less than 100 meters. LISN LED has always used high-quality Cat6, with stable signal transmission, good plug-in and unplug terminals, and is not easy to damage. The length can be customized according to different needs.
3) When the transmission distance is greater than 100 meters, we need to use optical fiber, which is divided into single-mode and multi-mode optical fiber, and is used with an optical fiber transceiver. Its advantages are long transmission distance, anti-electromagnetic interference, and suitable for large or outdoor screens.
4) Control wires and other signal source cables such as: HDMI/DVI/DP cable, HDMI to DVI cable, audio cable, mainly used to connect the video source (computer, player) to the sending box or video processor, can be selected according to the interface, and support high-definition signal transmission.
5) USB cable, mainly used for debugging, upgrading firmware or connecting the controller.
6) Ground wire, used to prevent lightning strikes, static electricity, and ensure safety, specifications: yellow-green two-color cable, cross-sectional area ≥2.5²
By reasonably matching cables, the stable operation of the LED display can be ensured and the risk of failure can be reduced. The specific plan needs to be adjusted according to the screen model, control system and on-site environment.
